BUILDING STRONG MATHEMATICIANS – 6 TITLES IN SERIES
Give your students every opportunity to become strong mathematicians with this series of resources designed to introduce, consolidate and extend skills with Number, and Algebra strategies outlined in the curriculum.
In Books 1-3, each section begins with a concept explanation page for the teacher and/or students to use. Following it are independent practice pages and activities with a fun twist to get students building their knowledge of the concept in a variety of ways. Helpful hints continue to support students as they work on the activities. In addition, every page includes the learning intention, (relates to the Australian mathematics curriculum documents), which both makes the point of the activity clear to students and helps you to identify relevant activities as part of your lesson planning. To further strengthen students' skills, Books 4-6 provide differentiated activity cards and answers.
